RepStudio is operated by Anicca Wellness, a sole proprietorship registered in India (“we”, “us”, “our”). This policy explains what information we collect on repstudio.app and app.repstudio.app, how we use it, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect what we need to run the product and to understand whether it works — we do not sell your personal data, and the practice conversations you have with the AI are used to deliver the service, not to advertise to you.
1. Information we collect
Information you provide
- Your email address and, optionally, your name.
- Answers you give in quizzes and interactive flows — for example your role, the kind of employer you're negotiating with, compensation figures, and details of your situation. We use these to personalize your practice and any generated guide.
- The content of your practice conversations: the messages you type and, if you use voice mode, your voice audio and its transcript.
- Purchase information you give our payment providers. We receive confirmation of your purchase and the email used at checkout, but never your full card details.
- Messages you send us through support chat or email.
Information collected automatically
- Device and browser information, and your IP address (used, among other things, to infer your country — for example to show prices and figures in your currency).
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, and how far you progress through our flows.
- Session recordings of how you interact with our pages (scrolls, taps, navigation), via a session-replay service, used to find and fix product problems.
- Cookies and similar identifiers, including advertising click identifiers (for example from Google or Meta ads) so we can measure whether our advertising works. We link activity across repstudio.app and app.repstudio.app so your session isn’t split in two when you move from one to the other.
2. How we use your information
- To provide the Service: run practice conversations, generate your personalized material, and deliver purchases.
- To send you what you asked for (for example a guide by email) and service messages about your account or purchase. Marketing-style follow-ups always include a way to opt out.
- To keep your account secure and prevent fraud and abuse.
- To understand and improve the product — which flows work, where people get stuck, what breaks.
- To measure advertising: attributing a visit or purchase to the ad that led to it.
- To comply with legal obligations.
3. AI processing
The roleplay and personalized guides are powered by third-party AI providers. To deliver these features, the relevant content — your scenario answers, conversation messages, and (in voice mode) audio for transcription and speech generation — is sent to providers such as OpenAI and Anthropic for language responses, and speech providers for voice conversion. These providers process this content to provide the feature to us and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes, such as training their models.
4. Who we share information with
We share personal data only with service providers that help us run the product, each bound by its own security and data-protection obligations:
- Hosting and infrastructure — Vercel (website hosting).
- Database and authentication — Supabase (accounts, sign-in including Google sign-in, stored answers and progress).
- AI and voice providers — as described in section 3.
- Payments — Dodo Payments and Whop.
- Email delivery — Resend.
- Analytics — Google Analytics and Vercel Analytics.
- Session replay — LogRocket.
- Support chat — Crisp.
- Advertising measurement — Google Ads and Meta, to measure ad performance.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or users’ safety, or as part of a business transfer (in which case this policy continues to apply to your data).
We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share your practice conversation content with advertisers.
5. Cookies and your choices
We use:
- Essential cookies — sign-in and session stability. The Service doesn’t work without these.
- Analytics and replay — understanding usage and diagnosing problems.
- Advertising cookies — measuring campaigns (Google, Meta).
You can control cookies through your browser settings, and opt out of personalized advertising via Google Ads Settings and Meta Ad Preferences.
6. Data retention
We keep account data while your account is active, and purchase records as long as required for accounting and legal purposes. Analytics and session-replay data are kept on the retention schedules of those services. You can request deletion of your data at any time (section 7), and we will delete what we are not legally required to keep.
7. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you;
- correct it;
- delete it;
- receive a copy in a portable format;
- object to or restrict certain processing.
To exercise any of these, email support@repstudio.app. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. If you are in the EU/UK, our legal bases for processing are performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interests in operating and improving the Service, and your consent where required (for example, for advertising cookies); you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.
8. International transfers
We operate globally, and the providers listed above process data primarily in the United States and the European Union. Where required, transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.
9. Security
We use industry-standard measures — encryption in transit, access controls, and reputable managed infrastructure — to protect your data. No system is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
10. Children
The Service is not intended for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time; the “Last updated” date at the top reflects the current version. If a change is material, we will take reasonable steps to notify you.
